So I spent a good 15 hours or so of my time during last months Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend Event recording and recording and recording practically everything I did or saw while playing. Hi ya’ll! Kaboobie and I were talking the other day about blogging and gaming and the sorts. Now let me first admit, I am NOT a gamer. Its not that I hate gaming, or even despise it, its that I simply don’t have the time. As a full time teacher, gaming is the last thing on the to-do list for me. Every once in a while I enjoy a good (okay maybe not good) facebook game or playing a quick game on my DS… but that’s about the extent of gaming for me. I think if I did have time I would like to fiddle with it a little more, but I think I would lean more towards computer games than hand-held X-box games.

ArenaNet released a preview of the Making of Guild Wars 2 book that is included with the Collector’s Edition copy of the game. The preview includes 3 spreads from the book, that’s six pages, featuring the process behind the mesmer, which apparently was always going to be included in the game despite arenanet’s keeping the class’ inclusion a secret for a long, long time. ArenaNet is finally going to let us throw money at them tomorrow. I’m sure most of you know exactly what to do, where to go, and how this all works by now. In case you don’t I’ve got a short list of some commonly asked questions and answers concerning pre-purchasing Guild Wars 2. For those of you who are in the know about pre-purchasing I do have one tidbit of information recently made available by Arenanet’s very own Mike O’Brien, concerning pre-purchase of the Collector’s Editions. Mike O’Brien took to Reddit the other day to clarify some key bits of information including retailers accepting reservations before April 10th.
